Kafáček: a loyalty card that brings customers back

The Kafáček café in Orlová swapped paper punch cards for digital stamps in Apple and Google Wallet. After a year of use, the data is clear – customers keep coming back, and the revenue running through the loyalty card is an order of magnitude above what Walio costs.

77% of customers came back at least a second time after getting the card
1,250+ visits with the card stamps scanned over a year of use
7.6 visits per customer average across active cards
125 rewards handed out every 10th coffee free
210 cards issued +35 in the last month alone
45% of customers with 5+ visits the core of loyal guests

Aggregated data from the Walio app for the period April 2025 – June 2026. No personal customer data.

Repeat visits that count

A loyalty program shouldn't just look good – it should bring customers back. At Kafáček, repeat visits make up the vast majority of business and far exceed the price of Walio.

1,090+ repeat visits visits beyond the first sign-up
≈ €6,500 revenue from repeat visits estimate at an average spend of ~€6
< 10% Walio's price as a share of that revenue the plan over the same period

The revenue estimate is based on the number of scanned visits and an indicative average spend of €6. It is revenue recorded through repeat visits with the card, not revenue Walio can be shown to have caused – some of these guests would have come back without a loyalty program. It illustrates the order of magnitude, not an accounting figure and not a measurement of incremental lift.

„At Kafáček, Walio let us switch to digital stamps and it's a huge simplification. Customers have the card right in their phone, staff can instantly see the stamp count, and the whole process is fast, convenient and paper-free.“
